I wanted to post this song and give a little bit of background story of how I came to write it. This song is about feeling trapped between the love you have for someone and the pain that is caused by being with them, not because of them but because who you are at the time doesn't fit who they are. This song comes from the hope that maybe one day, when layers have been shed, that person you love will have waited for you...to meet you on the other side... of the hurdles and obstacles you had to go through to become a stronger you, a you that could maybe be a better fit for them...
